Protecting your personal data is important to us. This document explains what personal data we process, for which purposes, how long we retain it and what rights you have as a data subject.

2. Personal data we process and from whom
We mainly process data relating to hotel clients and prospective clients, job applicants and visitors who use our contact forms. This may include name, job title, company contact details, phone number, email, the content of an enquiry and recruitment information provided during the selection process.

A medical fitness document is requested only from people who are actually hired, particularly for food-handling roles. This fulfils the legal obligation to verify fitness for such work.
4. Recipients and processors
- Hotel clients, only to the extent necessary to coordinate the service.
- Website hosting and technical service providers acting as processors.
- Other contracted processors, such as accounting or payroll providers.
- Public authorities where required by law.
5. Retention periods

6. Rights of data subjects
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27.

7. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or destruction, including restricted access and secure transmission through web forms.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as legislation or the scope of our services changes. The current version is always available on this page.
Cookies
The smarthotel.sk website currently does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies. We do not store cookies on your device when you visit the website.
If cookies are introduced in the future, we will update this notice and request consent before storing any non-essential cookies.
